Living in Mahmutlar
Shops, restaurants, bars, small kind of discos (hotels), one large disco, car-rentals, handy-crafts, hairdressers and, of course, Turkish Baths. (In fact, if you want it, Mahmutlar has got it.)
For children there are many small parks, equipped for playing. And after a walk, you can rest on a bench, in the sun, in one of the many small green parks. When we feel warm in the summer (maybe too warm) there are two good options:

Governmental
Turkey is a republic, based on the same governmental system as all European countries. Mahmutlar is a town, and is run exactly like a town should be run by this system. The difference is that this town has so many Europeans that also their culture is taken into consideration. The previous mayor, Alaattin Çakır, had a vision to make this town the most popular amongst European people for the future. This seems to be fulfilled! |
